Time is the essence and our works the proof and evidence of how we live, what we sow we reap, what we give we get back in return.
Our works comprises of our deeds, thoughts and actions towards others, both those that love us and those that don't.
At times it might seem as if God is totally silent, or at times due to what we face in life we might conclude in a hurry that
God doesn't care. When it seems as if the wicked prosper without stress, when it seems that the unjust get away with their evil
deeds and yet flourish and even the oppressors trample on their victims with nobody to check their actions.
Or when it seems as if the just grief, the poor cry and the needy groan with none to care for them or even speak for them.
So it might seem at times but I came to realize that it isn't always so, because when we think (thought) God is silent,
uncaring and unmoved by our plights in life, the truth is that He is caring and He understands what we go through.
There are so many reasons why God doesn't react in the exact way we want Him to, for His ways are not our ways
and His time is not our time. It is important to understand that God is just and loving
in all things and at all times. Though the pressures of life and the difficulties we face at a particular moment
in time might push us to the extreme and lead us to the point that we begin to think otherwise and try to seek solutions
from the wrong source or begin to see things from the wrong perspectives or even pressured to the limit that
we tend to seek answers at all cost regardless of what God's plans are for us in that particular situation. I will say
to any who cares to listen and to anyone who truly trust in God that just as the bible said in Romans 8:28
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according
to his purpose." Our struggles, challenges and the wars that confront us are always blessings wrapped up in pains.
Or as the saying goes " there are blessings in disguises". Even when we don't see them so, or even when we are filled with
doubts and carried away by worries it is important to realise this and walk by faith instead of walking by sight.
And from my own perspective I think that our problems are always ways by which God show us His power, they might be
means of educating, elevating, strengthen and broadening our mind to the ever changing, incomprehensible,
immersed and unending saving powers of God. They might also be ways by which He wants to draw us closer to Him, maybe
ways by which He intends to save us from unforseen disaster, or means by which He wants to redirect our course if and maybe
we are on the wrong path or even to reshape our focus. May we not also forget that our pains might be as a result of
our wrong doings too, and even if it is so, then it is still a blessing that we should be grateful for. For Hebrews 12:6 says
"Because The Lord disciplines the one he loves, and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son." And Proverbs 3:12 says
"because the LORD disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in." One should be happy to be loved and remembered
by God, even when the pains are not fun or plesant but the thought of being loved by the Most High God and being remembered
by Him signifies that we are in safe hands and counted as His. So therefore to think that we are left alone to deal with
our problems is a mistake that one should learn to correct and understand that God keeps count of every action we take
and every action taken against us. For the bible said in Psalm 56:8 "You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all
my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book". Though it might seem as if it is taking too long for
our prayers to be answered, too long for our needs to be met or maybe we think that the enemy won't get punished for
the evil they do and for the evil they might be doing at the moment but it is not so. For there are so many things we
can not see with our own eyes, many things we can not understand or even believe even when being told or shown.
Also bear in mind that, we are all children of God, and God is always just, so He will treat all with love for 2 Peter 3:9 says
"The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone
to perish, but everyone to come to repentance". Again know that most people will suffer in silence because they know the
weight of the evil that they have done, so they will pretend as if all is well and prefer to die in silence than let
those they have offended know their ordeal. If God was and is still patient with us, then others deserve His patience too,
regardless of how one feels but this is the truth and we can't change it, neither can we judge them. Because God alone
is the only true judge. It is better to depend on God for guidance and ask for His directions at all times not only during trials.
By so doing we will get to understand the deep things that are hidden from our naked eyes and get to know that there are
some things that can only be understood through His divine wisdom and by the help of The Holy Spirit.
I suggest we pay attention when we are undergoing a particular problem or set of problems in life, then one can learn more,
if we are focused. Than we can ever learn if we chose to complain about everything. For life, is in stages and one stage
prepares us for the next, so whatever we learn now will be of great importance for the next stage that we are about enter.
And whatever one fails to learn now, he or she might pay for it in the next stage in life. So again, our pains and troubles
might be as a result of what we failed to learn in an earlier stage.
For somethings must be learnt before one can proceed to the next phase of life or else he or she might keep moving around in
circles without making any head way. In regard to this I say that somethings depend on us, the faster we are willing to adapt to
change or learn, in some cases might determine how fast our circumstances change. So bear in mind that the time and results
we seek might all lie in our hands without us knowing. But this too needs wisdom and God's guidance to be able to understand it.
So therefore I suggest that how fast we learn, or how fast we tend to adapt to change and or even how willing we are to change
might all be the key or set of keys one needs to advance to the next phase of his or her life. When you do good, you get it back,
maybe not at the moment or maybe not as you expected it but believe it, it all comes back to you in one way or the other. So too
is it when you do bad, evil will you get in return. There is no way you can outsmart God, neither will God defraud you. Though
some are favored but none is exempted from punishment, though it might take time but it will come. Be it good or bad.
